Everest View Trek

Your trek starts with an exciting 30-minute flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, offering awe-inspiring views of the Himalayan range. Upon arrival at Lukla, you’ll begin your trek, descending through pine forests and charming Sherpa villages. The path winds alongside the Dudh Koshi Canyon, traversing multiple suspension bridges. After an easy trek of 3-4 hours, you’ll reach Phakding, a tranquil village on the riverbanks, where you can relax and prepare for the days ahead.

Today’s journey leads you further into the heart of the Khumbu region. You’ll pass through lush pine forests and Sherpa villages, crossing the Dudh Koshi River multiple times on suspension bridges. After entering Sagarmatha National Park at Monjo, the trail steepens as you begin the climb towards Namche Bazaar. Along the way, you’ll catch your first glimpses of Mount Everest and Lhotse, providing the perfect motivation for the final push to Namche. This bustling town, set in a natural amphitheater, is the largest settlement in the Everest region and offers plenty of comforts.

Start the day with a scenic hike to the Everest View Hotel, one of the highest luxury hotels in the world. Located at 3,880 meters, the hotel offers spectacular panoramic views of Mount Everest, Ama Dablam, and surrounding peaks. After soaking in the views and enjoying a break, the trek continues downhill to the picturesque village of Khumjung. Here, you can explore the Edmund Hillary School and visit the Khumjung Monastery, home to the famed yeti scalp. Spend some time wandering through the traditional village before heading back to Namche Bazaar for the evening.

Today, you’ll retrace your steps back to Lukla, following the same route through Sagarmatha National Park and passing through the villages of Monjo and Phakding. The trail mostly descends, but there are some uphill sections to challenge your legs one last time. Enjoy the final views of the Himalayan landscape as you pass through pine forests and cross the familiar suspension bridges.

Upon reaching Lukla, you can celebrate the successful completion of your trek with your team before settling in for the night.

After an early morning flight from Lukla to Kathmandu, you’ll have one last chance to enjoy the spectacular aerial views of the Himalayas. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you’ll be transferred to your hotel, where you can rest or explore the city at your leisure, reflecting on your unforgettable trek in the Everest region.
